| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | HUSLAB at HUS Diagnostic Center, Helsinki, Finland, purchases an amino acid analyzer (AAA) to replace one of three existing “Biochrom 30+ Amino Acid Analyzer Physiological System” analyzers used for laboratory diagnostics of metabolic diseases in human patient samples. HUSLAB runs approximately 1500 patient samples yearly. HUSLAB will purchase instrumentation and reagents for amino acid analysis based on cation exchange chromatography of precipitated patient samples with post-column derivatization with ninhydrin and dual detection at 570 nm and 440 nm wavelengths. The analyzer must be fully customizable and CE-marked. The procurement will also include CE-marked reagents for 1500 yearly samples and one column per analyzer. Column cleaning and re-packing service are required. Procurement includes training, service agreement with one preventive maintenance service per year, on-site repairs and a telephone hotline. HUS currently operates 3 Biochrom 30+ Amino Acid Analyzer Physiological System and if tenderer now offers the same device, one of the devices currently in use will be replaced with a new one. If the provider offers a device other than the “Biochrom 30+ Amino Acid Analyzer Physiological System”, three (3) new devices should be offered by the tenderer. If HUSLAB ends up changing analyzer brand after this tendering process, the whole production capacity of yearly 1500 samples will consequently have to be changed to assure equal measured concentrations and equal processes for all patient samples. The costs for this change are defined in the procurement documentation. The tenderer confirms that it or its representative is not the target of international sanctions.
